Church Governance and Committees

The Church congregation is very active and involved in a variety of church, and community outreach initiatives.

Internal governance of the Church's operations are guided by a Church Council which is composed of representatives of each of the Church's Committees.

The Church's Committees include: "Session" which addresses the spiritual needs of the congregation; "Stewards" which oversee the Church's finances; "Ministry and Personnel" addressing the needs of the Minister and Church Staff; "Church Property"- ensures the maintenance and wellbeing of the church building and property; "Trustees"; and the "ReachOut/OSM Food Cupboard Committee"- undertakes a variety of community out reach activities, and oversees the operation of the Food Cupboard which serves residents of the Township of Otonabee-South Monaghan and Hiawatha First Nation.

A number of additional committees are activated from time to time to manage specific initiatives, such as hosting concerts and an annual community barbecue.
